Very helpful staff.
Booked a double room, one single bed and a sofa bed does not make a double room. Reallocated a proper double room later in the day but hopefuly not at the expense of some other guest.

Efficient breakfast, pleasant views, fantastic location very close to München and Karlsruhe, and Stuttgart. Updated and neat room with central heating, a work desk and cable TV. Comfortable bed and good services. Easy check-in, parking on-site. Everything excellent. Really nice experience there...

We had a lovely romantic escape surrounded by nature. The hotel was nestled in a wooded area and we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. The staff was friendly and accommodating and quickly resolved any issues we had. We also appreciated the delicious meals served at the on-site restaurant.
The location was quite remote and we had to rely on taxis or rental cars to get around. The room was smaller than expected and lacked some basic amenities.

very peaceful, fair prices, helpful staff
The first room we were given was a single (we booked a double) with a sheet thrown over a sofa bed!! When we asked to change we were told there were no rooms available. When we asked again, we were offered 2 other rooms that belonged to other members of our family that hadnt arrived yet. When we refused we were then given a beautiful room. We do feel that if a double was not available at the time of bookin we should have been told.

German oriented. The girl in the reception knew no English - but had a good laugh about it.

Rooms were recently renovated. We had the €85 appartment, very roomy with two rooms + bathroom and very clean. Very good value for money and very good breakfast (included in the price) as well, one of the best in years. I have stayed in many high class hotels for work, and this hotel holds up very well. I cannot judge the hotelrooms, I'm speaking about the appartment in this review. It's certainly worth the extra €8.I would have rated the hotel 9.0 out of 10, but due to the loosy pilows and some minor things in the kitchen I would say 8.0 out of 10 at this time. I would go there again on my next trip to Italy to stay overnight (but will again bring my own pilow)
Two letdowns, of which one major. The beds and matrasses are very good and very roomy, but both my wife and I found the pilows very bad. The were so soft and big that you could fold them over 4 times! And even then they were uncomfortable soft. My wife could sleep, but I had to get my own pilow from the car to get some sleep. Please replace the pilows with regular quality medium pilows for some support. One other thing with the kitchen, as we had the appartment. It had no watercooker and there was only one knife, two spoons and two forkes. There were some pans.

The location of this hotel was perfect for me, nestled in the middle of a beautiful forest. It provided a serene and peaceful atmosphere that I absolutely loved. Despite being surrounded by nature, it was still conveniently close to all the places I wanted to visit. Plus, the breakfast served was delicious and the staff provided excellent service.
I did encounter a small issue with the bed in my room. I had booked a room for three adults, but unfortunately, the bed was broken, leaving me with no choice but to sleep on the floor with just a thin mattress.
